Quentin Tarantino names his favorite 20 movies since 1992.

In a genuinely fun idea, QT sits down and discusses his favorite movies that have been released since he himself has been making movies. I would have preferred some explanations for some of his stranger choices (Anything Else?), and I wish the whole piece was longer. Whatever has become of his career as a filmmaker, Tarantino certainly can talk movies like nobody's business (is he talking slower than usual in this interview?). It's good to see some love for Speed (yes the last twenty-minutes are flawed, but you needed a showdown between Reeves and Hopper) and Unbreakable. And he's dead-on criticizing the cryptic marketing campaign for Unbreakable, which left people expecting a straight thriller or religious epic. When the revelation came ('hey, it's a superhero movie!') half the audience went with it, half threw their hands up in the air in distaste. Oh, and I still adore the second Matrix movie.

Ah...the second movie which had a plot focusing on Neo saving Trinity from death, only to die in the following film?

Was that Matrix 2 or 3's fault?
