Yes, Michael Bay borrowed a scene from The Island and used it in Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Horror of horrors! Yes, Mr. Bay borrowed a bit of highway mayhem in order to avoid re-shooting a stunt where a stunt woman was seriously injured and/or actually putting the take where she got injured into the movie. The fiend! Obviously a true artist, say someone like Walt Disney and the Disney animation department would never do such a thing right? Right? Oh... right.

Oh the horrors! Comparing Michael Bay to Walt Disney. Then, again what do I know. I liked The Island.
ReplyDeleteAs did I... Liked several Bay films (The Rock, Bad Boys, The Island, Transformers 3).
ReplyDeleteI only truly dislike 2 Bay movies: Armageddon and Pearl Harbor. I hated Titanic, too. I almost had my girl card revoked over that. LOL! I hate any fake overwrought romance.
ReplyDeleteI didn't even hate Transformers 2. This last one was a little slow because IMHO it had too much Shia and not enough everyone else. I loved evil Patrick Dempsey and John Malkovich as Bruce.
