Bad Movie, Great Scene - Ghost Ship. (contains graphic violence)

While the third Dark Castle release isn't particularly remarkable. Ghost Ship lacks the funhouse comedy of House On Haunted Hill as well as the potent family tragedy backdrop of Thirteen Ghosts (the latter contains one of my all-time favorite opening credit scenes). But the 2002 spook-story does contain an absolute doozy of an opening scene. Ghost Ship just came out on Blu Ray a week or so ago, but save your money. This is the only part worth seeing. The first clip is the opening moment and the second is an expanded (and less effective) version of that moment told later in the film.
