Click on the above picture for something Sony and National Cinema Media are touting as a 'hyper trailer'. Basically, this particular variation of the standard Angels & Demons trailer allows you to branch off into several related behind the scenes clips as the watch the preview. It's a neat little gimmick that's worth playing with for a few moments. Nothing out of this world, but I appreciated the token effort in basically making the website function more like a DVD/Blu Ray supplemental feature. I'm sure we'll see more of this kind of 'seamless branching' for film websites in the near future. The site also features 'red carpet premiere footage' and 'an exclusive clip revealing the first clue', for those into that kind of thing. As for the movie, so far it's at a decent 60% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. I'm waiting till opening night for the sake of convenience, so I'll let you know on Saturday morning if it's any better than The Da Vinci Code.
