Denise Richards wasn't the best actress in the Bond franchise, but she was still able to act circles around the likes of Barbara Bach, Talisa Soto, Tanya Roberts, Mie Ama and Lois Chiles. And just because she looked like a Playboy centerfold, people like you found it hard to buy her as a nuclear scientist. Apparently, many fans seemed to believe that to be a female scientist, one has to be either over 30, or plain, nebbish and flat chested. Talk about shallow!

As for the females in "SKYFALL" . . . it was bad enough to make me upchuck my snacks.DEE RUSHnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6937848248469121586.post-63996992478795866402012-11-14T16:01:09.736-08:002012-11-14T16:01:09.736-08:00There was a James Bond documentary a while back an...There was a James Bond documentary a while back and it featured interviews from many of the Bond women over the years. Its obvious that Dench was having to be written out, but why do we have to kill everyone when doing so? Even though Bond killed him, Silva won and got exactly what he aimed to do. I understand what you're getting at but I think the producers deserve a mulligan on that one.

As for Moneypenny, it initially bugged the hell out of me, her treatment in the film. Especially since she's black but I gotta figure that with the hiring of Naome Harris, the producers are playing a long game with her character to where she gets back out there with Bond. It looks bad now but you don't hire Naome Harris to play Moneypenny.corysimsnoreply@blogger.com
